I want to do one of these river runs. Saw some folks doing a Charleston Cooper River Run yesterday. Totally missed that thread. Would rather tag along with others on one of these because I won't know the area, sights, places to avoid and all that.

We we did the new bern run we stopped and had lunch in beaufort then went out to the light house..... was too cold to get in so we just took come.pics in the area. Then made the run back. I still have it on my Chartplotter I think

My fall is booked up. Destin labor day (rented boat that trip)

Keys oct -camping and bringing boat

Panhandle area for Thanksgiving week- trailering boat.

Neutron.. if we wanted to stay the night say in beaufort, is there a place in newbern where we could safely park out rigs over night?

Depending on the date i am in. Downtown has been dead so there seems like plenty of parking and space for the rigs if not drop boat/trailer at my house and grab in the am. I am only 6 miles from downtown.
@Paulie might be in as well. He did this run a few weeks ago
