About 5 month ago found myself looking at boats online and eventually came across Yamaha boats and this online community. I knew I wanted a jet boat and looked at manufactures like Chaparral and Scarab but kept coming back to Yamaha for the value and styling.

Once I new I wanted a Yamaha, wasn't sure which model so started going through the different model forums. Won't bore ya'll with the details but started out thinking I wanted the FSH 190 but eventually knew I wanted a 2015+ 24 foot boat.

Test piloted a 2016 Limited S yesterday and was impressed with quality and completely blown away by the performance. The second I saw this one, I knew I was leaving with it.

In the driveway back home. Getting ready to go out Sunday for her maiden voyage on Lake Belton.

I can't say how valuable this community has been in my boat quest. The knowledge and experience here I believe is second to none.

Welcome Aboard!

Congrats and what a nice day to be on the water.

Congrats and welcome! Nice looking truck and boat. Sic 'Em Bears!

congratulations that's a nice looking boat,

Congrats on the new boat.

Congrats! Beautiful boat!

Thanks all! Ran through a half tank of gas running around the lake yesterday. The guys at the local marina had all sorts of questions about the boat. "What kinda boat is that"? "How many engines"? One guy even said "Wow..Yamaha's stepping up their game"...didn't feel like telling him they've been making sweet boats for 20+ years. Honestly think they're shocked to see anything that's not a bass boat or a glittery looking wakeboard boat.

Had a blast yesterday. My wife even said she thinks this is the best purchase we've made!

be sure to look at our FAQ at the top of the page for lots of great tips about jet boats,
be sure to leave your cleanout plugs out after each trip and
if you run the engines on the hose be sure it's - engine on, water on, then water off, engine off to avoid flooding them.

Congratulations on the new boat!:Welcome:

@Scottintexas thanks for the reminder about flushing the engines. I read and saw a couple youtube videos going over proper flushing technique. I'll check out the FAQs for sure.

congrats

Beautiful boat...

Congrats on the new boat.....she is a beauty. I bought a 242 Limited SE back on Memorial Day....eseentially the same boat as you have there. You will continue to like it the more you use it. Wife loves it, kids love it....oh and so do I :) BTW....Belton is a beautiful lake to be on!!!!

Congrats! What a beautiful lady!

Beautiful boat! I too get an occasional question about my boat being a Yamaha jet boat. Yet we see a lot of them on the water.

@mike05 Thanks! I think you're the first person I've seen with the same black hull. Not sure if it wasn't a popular color or what...
