As the title says, i am jumping into the jet boat world. Have always been on I/O boats, but have pulled the trigger on a 2020 scarab 255 Open ID. Any tip, maintenance, do's and don'ts, etc. would be very helpful!

I'm going to be scouring this forum and learning like crazy how to best operate, maintain, and service this boat.

twin 300HP engines
has power pole
has trolling motor

I'm looking forward to fishing this boat in the Texas Gulf soon. Any tips on how to best protect this boat from saltwater would be great too!

Welcome to the forum! Lot's of information and help plus good humor and great advice. Enjoy that pretty boat.

Anti corrosive spray your engines before use and regularly. Flush you boat after every use and don’t run your engines more than 1 minute out of water.
