I am debating between a 2017 242x at 66k or a new 2018 242x at 82k.

I am not certain for the differences besides the paint schemes and 104 hours on the 2017.
The 2017 has an extended warrantee to 2021 and the 2018 has no extension yet.
Does this price sound resonable?
What should I be concerned with on a used boat?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Big change is the bigger connext. Also surfpoint.

I didnt think it was worth it so went 2017 for the price.

I will say you are about $5k more than what I just paid for a 2017 with 30 hours.

My mistake. 2018 versus 2019.

Nicest used one. Most owners add mods that aren't really worth the extra cost for a used.

Is that price Out The Door, including taxes, etc? MSRP on the '19 is 76,999, I'm pretty sure. So, at least could get a '19 for that if you're willing to travel a bit, if nothing else. If it is the OTD price, then you're probably in range. I'm not sure on the '18.

Someone buys the new boats I can't get past the depreciation. I personally would go for the 2017 but would look for one with less hours and maybe a bit cheaper.

Where are you located? I see a few on boattrader with less hours and under that price.

Thanks for the comments. I bought the used 2018 today. Saved a bundle! Delivery is Friday. More posts to come.
