I own a 2015 242 Limited S and my stock polk audio DB651 are showing their age. Once of the six (by the swim deck) this past weekend rusted out. Before I purchased the boat the previous owner installed WetSounds color changing LED rings in front of the speakers so I have the RGB colored wires.

I am looking to replace with something similar and not break the bank. We listen to music when we are beached. I have been looking at the Kicker 6.5 with color changing lights on Amazon. Having the RGB wires already there and the WetSounds RF controller how easy is it to connect to new speakers. Do I need some type of RGB adapter to fit the new lights.

The Kicker speakers are a great choice. Wiring is simple - just color match. You will have 2 red and 2 black - match those based on gauge size.
