New to forums, have some questions on Scarab 165 HO Impulse

With or without an extra high-powered amp, every boater should consider having a battery jump starter onboard so that you don't get stranded with a dead battery. They make compact ones with lithium batteries now.

Yep. I carry one. Inexpensive security plus it can come in really handy for someone else too. Beats towing them! I also carry spare spark plugs (and tools for them), oil, spare fuses and relays, etc. Some basics.

That looks really nice! And it pretty well matches the OEM mat on the swim platform in back too. How hot does that SeaDek flooring get in the sun?
Somewhere on line a couple of months ago I was on a site that was selling a Seadek alternative. It was selling sections of flooring for the 165. Not forcing you to buy it all. I need some pieces only, as mine did not come with any inside floor material, just the floor bare fiberglass. I saw they also had strips that would run down the top of the boat where you may step on to first before stepping into the boat, which is a good thing to put on as many step there and slip on smooth the wet fiberglass. I cannot find the site now. I didn't own the boat yet so I wasn't so diligent in saving the sites I was looking at. Still looking for the site.
