Hey guys;

Some of the Waverunner guys on the Greenhulk forum are running Motorcraft FL400S or FL910S filters. I see no mention of those filters on this site. Just curious if anyone is running them? I was thinking of using them, as they're way cheaper than the Yamaha filters and from what I've seen appear to be very good quality.

That is a new one on me (and I maintain a list of cross-referenced brands for my boat). With the frequency of my oil changes versus the hours I put on, I don't get tied up over brand, usually, as long as it is something reputable. Watching to see if anyone has tried this one so I can add it to my list...

Using Motorcraft FL910s after Jeff @ CJS made a post recommending them. They are cheap, good quality, work, and are readily available at the local Walmart. In the end, it’s an oil filter.... sure some are better than others but unless you are using a complete garbage filter, it’ll do its job especially at the intervals Yamaha suggests.
