Newbie here--was winterizing our 2007 AR210 for the first time yesterday and turned on port side engine key with water running. However, the previous owner / mechanic apparently switched the starter connection so it started the starboard engine instead. It took a few minutes (3?) before I realized what was going on and shut it off.
I immediately checked the plugs, didn't see any water. Also cranked the engine, no water. Checked the oil and didn't see any water mixed in. Checked the oil again this morning and didn't see water.
Question for all of you... it it safe to start the engine and flush correctly now? Or should I put seafoam in first and then start it? Anything else I should do? Should I take it out and run it on the lake one last time before winterizing now? Or ok to just run it on the hose? And last, if it cranked when the plugs were out does that mean we're not hydrolocked?
