Thanks for being a resource for boater, I hope someone can help me. I have a 1974 Glastron-Carlson with a 12JE-A Berkeley jet drive. It does not get heavy usage as our family ski and camping boat, but the pump was rebuilt in 1998. So I am sure it needs to be rebuilt again, and I can find no mechanic in my area (East Tennessee) could some one point me in the right direction?

Good luck finding someone, are you comfortable with a wrench?

I had a Berkeley jet in my new 1979 Sanger. That pump was solid.

Thanks zipper, for the videos, I had not found them before you replied. I do have some wrenches, but more carpentry tools. It is not just that I am reluctant to buy the special tools to rebuild the Berkeley pump, but I would like the counsel of someone who has done it before. I think I am in the situation of owning something so rare that no one can make a living servicing. I suddenly realize I have a big decision to make.
