@Sullfam I'm thinking you and I have shared the same mud and blood at some point. I was pretty hard core racer from 2005 to around 2011 or 2012 in the North TX offroad circuits. TCCRA, TORN, and TORO......

Yamaha makes awesome products! I bought a new r1 back in 2004. Amazing machine and amazing I'm still alive! I have a couple stereos, 6 seat Viking sxs, fx140, and a superjet. Got my eye on a raptor, but it's competing for resources with a car lift and an outboard for my 13' tunnel hull.

Is that a 82 YZ80? Looks to have the front number plate with the radiator behind...

Yes, 1982. Mistype on my part. Started racing in 1980 on a 1979 RM80. Bought the YZ in late 1981. The switch to the YZ was pretty amazing.

Have to have been. Raced TCCRA starting in 1999 and then both when TORN started up in 2006 was it? Also have hit a number of TSCEC and of course TORO in the winter. All great series and are pretty spoiled in NTX if you’re an off-road racer/rider. Not sure I will race much more through. Wife is pretty excited about our new toy!

‘16 Yamaha FJR1300. My second Yamaha bike after having 2 hayabusas, 2 70’s Honda Cb750’s, a gsx1100g, a goldwing bagger and my first bike, a Yamaha SR500. FJR seems like it combines the best attributes of all those bikes into one.
