My kid always wants us to anchor our a little farther. (away from the crowds)
He's not happy unless we're in 10ft plus of water. He say's that if he can easily touch bottom that we're just WAY to close to the beach! lol
If it's crowded in the bay I'd rather just head out into the Gulf and go down a few miles on Shell Island so you can have the beach to yourself. That's what we do. I'm not much into crowded boat areas, especially with rental boat owners around.
Our kids are grown and my wife and I like to party so we don't mind the crowds. The good thing with the jet boat I can go around the outboards that are anchored in the deeper water and get a good spot even if its crowded.
Yea we had a great time. The area we were in wasn't bad. If you look in the pics where the tiki umbrellas and the Slides are that's where the music is realllllly loud and Chicks get naked going down the slides. I didn't go over there...... much
to ask the obvious ...I take it it okay to beach at PWC at Shell island ?
We are going to Panama City Beach the first week of June and I was thinking to bring the ski. It has never been in salt water and I think it is feeling left out.
