Panama City Beach (Shell island)

Where is the Bama Pier spot? It kind of looks like the chill spots near the park across from Shell Island before going out into the gulf. Nice pics! Makes me wish I were there lol

Ah yea I've been there when I rented pontoons. Good spot if it's not crowded.

Good spot if it's not crowded.
That's a BIG if.

My kid always wants us to anchor our a little farther. (away from the crowds)
He's not happy unless we're in 10ft plus of water. He say's that if he can easily touch bottom that we're just WAY to close to the beach! lol

We were there yesterday and it was already crowded, had to go down past bama breeze pier and eventually found an open spot with white sand bottom... Parking in the summer is always rough around there.

There's a third pier at Shell island, down the island closer to where the West pass used to be, it's not as crowded down there, but it's a longer drive

If it's crowded in the bay I'd rather just head out into the Gulf and go down a few miles on Shell Island so you can have the beach to yourself. That's what we do. I'm not much into crowded boat areas, especially with rental boat owners around.

Our kids are grown and my wife and I like to party so we don't mind the crowds. The good thing with the jet boat I can go around the outboards that are anchored in the deeper water and get a good spot even if its crowded. :jimlad::jimlad::jimlad:[flag][flag][flag]

Anyone heading to Wayne Palooza tomorrow? (June 9th)

We're in town and will have the boat in the water Saturday.

Yea we had a great time. The area we were in wasn't bad. If you look in the pics where the tiki umbrellas and the Slides are that's where the music is realllllly loud and Chicks get naked going down the slides. I didn't go over there...... much;):jawdrop::shamefullyembarrased::shamefullyembarrased:

to ask the obvious ...I take it it okay to beach at PWC at Shell island ?
We are going to Panama City Beach the first week of June and I was thinking to bring the ski. It has never been in salt water and I think it is feeling left out.

Yes most definitely!
Enjoy your trip @Betik. You (and your jetski) will have a blast over there.

We just took a boat-free trip over there to the 30-A area. Great family relaxing area.

Post pics please!
