Here's the deal; i would like a setup on the boat so i can go do some fishing, clean them, and then prepare and grill them. Other foods as well, especially after reading this section. What type of setups does anyone use on the boat itself? Pictures of course welcome.

@Ronnie has a sweet setup. Filet table and grill. Sorry. I am not Ronnie. I do not have pictures. But I do remember seeing it in an old thread.

Thats a cool setup @mao_chaser
No problems with grease or oil splatter?
I will look for Ronnie posts

This is what I plan to do. $80 for the mount from Yamaha.

Here is a link to a thread with some pics of my setup in it.

If I was planning to fish and grill as you described I would probably do the cleaning on swim deck, possibly with the fillet table mounted to the table leg with a power grip / level lock by magma.

Buy two of these and you wouldn't need to drill to install rod holders. You could grill from one table location and put the fillet table on the other. This may work with the floor mounted table legs as well depending on the Id size.

A few words of advice (wisdom?), there are better / more expensive grills available but the Coleman does the job, the case holds it and two bottles of propane and it can be easily stored in any of my boats compartments but the anchor locker. The bow seems to be the best place for the grill if you have a lot of people on board that want to hang out on the swim deck while anchored (most of my guests do). Otherwise the swim deck is where I would be, better seating position and close to the fresh water nozzle. The cockpit is ok but If you have the Bimini deployed you can get smoked out fast. We used it on a windy day so it was fine. We line the bottom of the grill with foil so cleanup is a breeze. Buy and bring at least twice as much propane as you think you will need.

Weber q 120. Fits in cooler area under starboard seat. Love it! Works wonders and cooks amazingly well. (this was in Bimini before the Caribe Dancer asked us to move so they could dive there!)

Here's my grill setup. My friend made the mount with some really hard rubber tube that fits perfectly into the table leg. IMG_0468.JPG

Awesome guys! Maybe i can at least get the grill setup cuz y'all are making me hungry!

This was taken a few years ago on the old boat but I set it up the exact same way on the 240.

No, I cook with the lid closed to minimize spatter. We use 85-90% burger so we don't get a ton of grease and most of it burns up on the heat shield. Six burgers resulted in two grease drops making it to the drip tray.

Very jealous
I think i know what i will do but i don't think it will happen before my Shelbyville and Cumberland trip.

I like it @Bruce. Where did you mount the rod holder for the level lock?

I used the T10-327 mount http://www.magmaproducts.com/Produc...met_Mounts/Single_Mounts/T10-327/t10-327.html

It is installed between the bow light and anchor locker. Right on top of the Yamaha sticker.

I placed it there to avoid all the swim deck traffic that typically happens while the grill is on. For those that do not have them, every part of a Magma grill will burn you while in use and for at least ten minutes after.

Here is my setup. Love it off the front of the boat.
