My 2016 LTD SE is making a chirping sound coming from the speakers. It happens every 5 seconds and is driving me nuts. It all started when i did a factory reset on the Connext by accident. I took it to the marina and they said it was the stereo but I replaced it and it still chirps. PLEASE someone know of this or a REAL Yamaha Tech???? I eve called Yamaha and they never heard of it.

A reset doesn't make new things happen, it just resets all the settings to default. Perhaps the depth alarm has been reset, or something else that will sound an alarm?

I think it might be searching for something. It is coming from the speakers. I also see that there is some type of code for each boat that lets the connext know what options there are. I noticed that i am missing some options that i actually have. Is this a thing?

Sorry I have no idea...a factory reset is like a reset on a phone, it just wipes the user data and settings, but doesn't touch the software or programming. There could be an issue. I'd contact your dealer.
