I run a Hummingbird Helix 5 GPS unit on my 2018 G3 1860 CCJ w/ 115 Yamaha Jet. Depth reads fine until I get on plane - then real erratic readings. Back down off plane and readings are normal. Checked w/ dealer and with Hummingbird - doesn't seem to be a prob w/ installation or the unit. Any ideas?

Try lowering the transducer just a bit. I know they say 1/4” below the hull is fine, but sometimes you just have to play with the positioning a bit.
