Started my search last summer for a Yamaha. After multiples posts asking for opinions and info, multiple pms to Mel, and multiple failed attempt to purchase. I finally found her! A red/white 2014 AR210. :)
I had to drive 8 hours through a bad thunderstorm and got a cold for standing in the rain too long. But it was well worth it.
I would like to thank Mel for all the informations he had given me and all that had answer all of my questions. Also those who started this awesome forum. Than you in advance for those who will have to put up with me in the future. I'm going to have A LOT of questions. Lol

To-do list:
2nd Battery - done
Boat bling - mail man dropping it off tomorrow.
Keelshield - purchased and will install when it gets warmer (might need some help with this)
Ezlocks - purchased and will install
Cobra Fins - done
Amp+Sub - will purchase when wife is in a good mood
Noise reduction - still researching
Tow valves mod - ordering
Led lights - researching

Taking it to the nearest lake - done
Feel free to add what you think is needed.

I also wanted to refer Seahorn Yamaha in Shawnee, OK to anyone looking for a Yamaha. Great price and world class customer service. I will elaborate on this when the cold medicine wears off. :)

Congrats! My ar240 came from Shawnee, original owner bought it from seahorn.

Congrats on the new boat. You might want to add a perfect pass system to your list if you plan on doing some wakeboarding.

Congradulations on the new boat !

Welcome aboard Kevin and really glad you found the boat of your choice! You will find this forum a much more member friendly place!

Welcome aboard Kevin and Congrats on the new boat. I cant wait to see pics.

Congrats Kevin, and yes, pictures please!!!

Congrats and dont let that cold stop you from getting it on the water.

Welcome aboard Kevin! Just ask away with any problem or general question. We've got lots of experts with lots of experience here to help. Be sure and check out the gatherings thread and come meet up with us on Broken Bow in July.

I will try to add some pictures today.

Excellent! Congratulations.

And you already have the mod list going. Impressive. I would add tow valves, but I am very good at making those lists. ..

Again congratulations!

It's crazy that I ordered most of these stuff before I even got the boat. Lol
Wife is not going to be happy when she see the bank statement this month.

Congrats!

Nice boat!! :winkingthumbsup"

Congatulations Kevin!!:Welcome:
I think one thing you need to ad to your list is a shakedown cruise invitation to Mel! Hell... there alot of us who would have never gone Yamaha if it wasnt for his help and advice. PLUS.....He really wants another Yammie and a ride along MIGHT just get him to pull the trigger:devilhorns:

Plus I hear Mel likes to bring all the beverages and pays for the gas.. What a nice guy.

Congrats on the new boat. You might want to add a perfect pass system to your list if you plan on doing some wakeboarding.
Might consider it, but prob later down the road.

Sometimes it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission! New boat fever is exciting. Congrats.

Productive day yesterday. Woke up early (don't think I was able to sleep much) and installed the Cobra fins. Took about 30mins or so. Mixed some Stabil and out the the lake we went. It was a nice day at the lake. Those fins do help tremendously. It's night and day compared to the Yamaha I test drove without. I still need to get use to docking thought. :( Boat is finally broken-in and ready for some real fun!!!!!!
