Took the boat out today and when we got home I didn't have a chance to flush engines or clean the boat because it started raining. My boat is hooked up to my truck in my driveway which has a steep incline. It has been raining for about two hours now and I won't be able to do anything until tomorrow. Just being super cautious being a 54k new boat. I always get home from a trip and wash the boat down with salt away flush the engines then dry the boat and put on the cover. What ate your thoughts?

Make sure your drain plug is pulled and clean tomorrow. Not going to hurt anything.

The drain plug is out. I always drive from the ramp with the plug out and it stays out until the day we put it back in the water.

The clean freshwater rain is likely a benefit to the boat and trailer. Boats get wet inside and out. Shouldn't be a problem as long as it has an opportunity to fully dry out after the rain.

Let it rain! Just make sure you pull the cushions and air it out tomorrow.

Water should not hurt anything in a boat.

Water should not hurt anything in a boat.
This is true, and there is probably no balsa wood in your boats deck construction.
