Our boat is on its new lift and tonight the sky open up and it rained very very heavy for at least 30 to 40 minutes. Some how or other the radio came on to include the control in the rear. No sound or anything just the lights to the radio and the rear control no other lights came on. So was wondering if anyone has any idea as to why this might have happen?[flag]

I haven't a clue. Is there a chance that the volume and strength of the downpour was enough to turn on the system via the rear remote? I wouldn't think it's wired this way.
A wind-driven horizontal rain can get up under just about any boat cover. If ever you suspect that a piece of electronics has had direct contact with water, do not turn on the electronics until you are certain that it has dried out fully. Often electronics can survive water exposure if treated properly. Seldom do electronics survive the combination of water while passing current.
