After a month of ownership of my AR195, my real one and only complaint is the captain's seat. I am only 5'8 and prefer to be able to sit so that I can easily see over the windshield. This can easily e accomplished y sitting on the flipped up bolster all day but it's not all that comfortable. When just sitting in the seat with no bolster I feel like I am sitting on the floor. Anybody ever raised the seat height or know of an easy way to do it? I'd love to have the seat height the same as when the bolster is up. The height isn't adjustable correct.? I have loosened every know on there to no avail.

How much higher do you want to go? If it is only a few inches I would consider installing a piece of treated wood between the base of the seat the mount on the bottom of the seat.

If you want to go more than that I would replace the post / pedestal.

I would really like to move it up exactly the width of the fold up bolster. Im guessing thats probably 6 to 8 inches
