This was a new one today. After spending the day on the water we put the boat on the trailer and I noticed the rear cleat hanging 3/4 out. I grabbed it and it came right out. No damage just looks like the nuts came unthreaded. Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

Not on a jet boat but plenty of wakeboats. Invest in some red loctite(unless you plan on removing the cleat again the go blue). I'm the OCD guy, and if the boat spends lots of time moored to a dock, I will build a small backer player out 3/16" or 1/4" aluminum for the underside(if it doesnt get one from the factory). If it's in an area with curved glass it's a bit tougher and usually just try to stack some washers to spread surface area. Not sure what size you nuts are but wakeboat are usually 1 1/8" socket needed. Sometimes 1 1/4".

Thanks - I will get some loctite. I haven’t went digging in the bilge yet so I’m not sure of the size.
