Another transducer communication issue....

Leaving a transducer actively pinging while out of the water for an extended period of time WILL cause it to over heat and destroy itself. So the dealer needs to pay for all of it.

This is why when you take your boat to the dealer, or car for that matter, you check everything over with a fine tooth comb before leaving, including firing the engines for a few seconds. One time leaving the car dealership after getting brakes I popped the hood to find the brake reservoir cap sitting there next to the reservoir.

Freaking reminds of work.
