Alright, here is what some people are waiting for. The cost beak down.

I searched around local dealers, and online. The cost of a new Triton Elite double with torsion, and upgraded wheels averages about 2500-2700. This is without taxes, and tags, and fees. That will add another $700 +/- to the price. So $3300-3400 OTD.

You can find some used ones in good shape for about $1400-1700. Add in title and sales tax when you register, you are looking at about $400-500 to get it tagged. Plus, they will most likely not have torsion, and the old bunk stops.

Here was my cost.
Trailer: $350
Wiring Harness: $106.00
Fenders: $55.00
Hub: $50.00
Led Lights (total): $125
Triton brackets: $100
2x4 PT wood: $20
Bunk Carpet: $75
Misc stainless hardware: $40
Upgraded bunk stops (not needed, but I wanted them): $415
Misc grease, bearing kits, and bearing buddies: $75
Registration and tags: $85
Paint: $10

Total: $1506.00 for a basically brand new torsion elite with all new hardware, and lighting.

I saw "Triton" in the title and have been skipping this thread because I thought you were rebuilding a bass boat.......Just read through the whole thing. Helluva write up, and cool project. Wish I had this level of patience and time to commit to something like this!

Nice job. I used bunk slides on mine years ago, the ski’s will slide right off when the bunks are dry.

A little update. This trailer is freakin badass. Tows like a dream, and looks amazing. Now to find a nice Seadoo jetboat to restore!

I know I am late to this party, but I bought this same trailer (but a 2002 according to the paperwork) and this thread made my life 1000x easier, so thank you for posting @ScarabMike!
