I posted this earlier in the trailer section but thought it would get a little more traction in General discussion so:.....

Ok, I've got a zerk fitting that needs to be replaced. When I add grease to the bearing buddy the grease just shoots back out from the zerk.
I took a paper clip and pushed it into the opening to see if the ball was stuck and nothing there.

So, I went to remove the zerk with the socket wrench and the whole plate with the zerk fitting on it just spins..How do I get it from spinning so i can replace it? (I feel like an idiot just asking LOL)

Do I have to remove the whole bearing buddy?

Trailer is a 2014 shorelander

I think you will have to remove it. If i recall correctly there may be a locknut on the back of the zerk. Cam
