Reverse???

We back into our slip...
1. Boat must be lined up
2. Use throttle bursts as you are reversing to maintain alignment (reverse/neutral/forward)
3. Go slow...old maxim here: only go as fast as you want to hit....
4. Recognize early when the manuever has failed and reposition

No wake mode gives you some additional control but generally I don't use it...
Any wind/current and this can be a tough maneuver...
I'm generally pretty good with this one BUT the stern of our boat will show you the learning curve is a steep one...gel coat repair kit is a must.

So nailed it this weekend on the first shot. I found the key was to get it perfectly aligned with the slip and go slow. There was a slight breeze that going in the opposite direction that might have helped a bit.
