I finally installed my RGB courtesy lighting. I left the original 4 whited LEDs in place for now. The new RGB LEDs are from a company called Shadow Caster. I found them for $30 each on Amazon, very nice quality.
In installed a total of 8 of these lights, including the two in the wet lockers on the swim platform.
I found a very inexpensive RGB controller at my local surplus store (Sky Craft in Winter Park, Fl). The controller with the wireless remote cost $24.
The hardest part of the installation is running the wire, just tedious. I'm powering the controller directly from the AC plug on the dash board.
Now I have 15 different light modes and I can control the brightness as well as the speed of the light changes. From very slow transition, to fast disco tec.
