Anyone have any thoughts on the Rockford HU's and Remotes? Anyone that has one and has had it for a season or two.... How do you like it and does it seem to be holding up well? Does it perform as expected?

Anyone have one of these Amps and how do you like it? Does it perform well and as expected? Any bitches, gripes, or complaints on them? Anyone have any thoughts on Rockford's C.L.E.A.N. technology?

I have that HU I'm my last boat. It's got some nice features. Separate tower outputs with separate volume controls. Very nice. Sounds great.

Yes, I have had those Rockford amps before....I'd say they are solid for Car audio but not for boating. In my last boat I had 2 of those amps and one of them was class A/B and ran hot. I think the consensus on here is to run class D Amos, they have a tiny footprint, draw less power from batteries among other things.

Once I moved from class ab amps to class D I noticed I could play my music all day without the battery warning

What kind of speakers are you looking to run with these amps?

JL all the way... I'm leaning towards the Rockford HU, definitely JL speakers, and amps im still doing some research on... those Rockford amps are about the same price as the JL amps, and I know the JL amps are tried and true, so I'll probably go the JL route for amps as well.
