I would like to know if the intercoolers installed on Jet boats with BRP Rotax SuperCharge engines have the same problems we have with PWC.
On the PWC, the pressure and corrosion make the original intercooler's cooling circuit leaking in the intake.

They are the same on the boats as far as I know. Years ago, BRP recalled all of the intercoolers due to failure because they were not allowing enough water to flush/clean them after running in the salt water. I had 2 fail within 3 months of use and allowed water into the engines.

You mean the two intercoolers on a twin engine fail in the same time?

When those leak they put water directly in to the throttle body and the engine , not a good thing. I would guess they are all the same parts. A check on the part numbers would probably be the way to see if they are the same.
Actually a good warning sign of the intercooler leaking is when your throttle body starts to hang up or stick after a few days of non use.
