Scarab 195 open second battery

Anyone here install second battery as a house battery? I picked up everything to do so, want to see where you all mounted second battery. I can’t go opposite sides b/c that’s the live well and I have 2 group 27s already upfront. So lookin like I have to run in same location as starting battery.
I’ll have to redo the breaker/switch box to rise the switch
And wanted to know if you have any problem with boat running level with extra battery in there

Anyone run a 20-30lb jet ski battery as starting battery instead of the group 24 etc
