I have a sea ray sea rayder and there was no spark, I changed the plugs, plug wires , and rectifier and no spark, the guys at the marina said it’s the flywheel and want 790$ , is that the problem and is that hiw
Much a new one is?

I believe those have a Mercury Sport Jet power head in them, my Baja Blast had the same setup and yes the flywheels are known for the magnets coming loose in them. If I remember correctly I found a parts breakdown on line and ordered a aftermarket one. I’ll have to look and see if I can find where I bought it from but it was a bunch of years ago.

That sounds a bit high.. keep shopping u will find something cheeper I am sure!

price is about right for new flywheel however what is wrong with flywheel. if magnet loose they can be reattached, even purchased on ebay.
examine fly wheel yourself or post photo. loose magnets can be fixed. i don't see much else to go wrong.
