Seadeck optional pads

If you load the boat by yourself for sure get the bow kit. I wouldn't get the one by the windshield as that is just a dangerous place to step anyways (one slip and you've possibly busted your windshield and neck or back). The bow kit is very useful and makes it much safer if you retrieve and launch the boat by yourself.

Personally I don't care for the looks of the Seadek on the rear "humps' as I affectionately referred to them. Maybe if the Seadek went all the way down to the lower platform side cutout step it would look better but just not a big fan of how bulbous it makes the stern look. Nobody ever sat there or step on that area on my boat.

yeah I agree it should go all the way down. But I still think it is very functional for my needs.

Does anyone know if the Engine Stepover pad that goes under the removable seat cushion in the transom step through area interferes with how that seat fits in there?

It doesn't on my 242

The thickness is about 1/4" so it doesn't raise the seat cushion very much. You can still put the seat in place easily and snap it down if needed.

I have boarding steps in front of the windshield, and also the bow mats. Highly recommend all.

People stepping into the boat naturally seem to want to step on that spot in front of the windshield, so I think this makes it more safe.

The bow mats are for my kids that love to jump off the front. SeaDek adds a lot of traction. I also think they look sharp.
What is the matting in your cockpit? Looks like that isn’t SeaDek. Snaps in?

It’s the factory snap-in carpet that came with my 2019 AR195.
