Over the last two years we have been out to Ship Island four times in our LX210 and SX230. We have really enjoyed the peaceful white sand beach on each visit. We have taken food and made a day trip of each of our visits. There is ample fishing in the area, we have been able to catch and grill our lunch. There are several other islands in the area to explore as well. You can learn more about the island at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_Island_(Mississippi) .

We have typically stayed at the Ocean Club at Biloxi but also tried a rental house and one of the casinos.

This is the view from the first condo we rented.

There are a lot of local seafood restaurants, some are even suitable for beaching your boat during your meal.

We have used the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor to launch our boat and keep it in a slip. The cost is around $30 a day for slip with electricity. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The dark spots in this picture are rays swimming along the beach

We got a little too much sun on our first visit so we started bringing umbrellas
