I bought a 2022 212 and since new there have been several QC trailer issues. The trailer has been losing bearing buddy caps somewhat regularly, at first I thought it was petty theft at the boat ramp. It turns out the brakes have been dragging which was heating up the grease and causing pressure forcing the caps to be pushed off. At first inspection I thought there was air in the line, so I bled them but the issue persisted. One of the calipers had a loose banjo bolt holding the brake line to the caliper, leaking fluid. I brought the trailer to the dealer and while they were testing the brakes I noticed the shaft between the axles clamped to the leaf spring was moving back and forth 2-3 inches. That could be really dangerous! The dealer is trying to have shorelandr warranty pads, rotors and the shaft...... Check your trailer vigilantly, there seem to be more QC issues with the trailers than the boats (I just might be a lucky one with no boat issues). Also rust was present on the slide assembly below the housing, which I am assuming was from a brake fluid leak/spill from the mfg or dealer. Very dissatisfied with the trailer currently, hopefully they do the right thing. Good luck!

Yeah I had a custom trailer built for my SeaDoo in January of this year... It was an amazing trailer, well sold that boat got this boat and I have to say these trailers are absolutely garbage! My trailer I had built was very sharp looking and silent... no creaking noises no clunks and the brakes never locked up on me like it seems this shore lander does any time I have to stop quickly. Just got this boat in April so the trailer is brand new too... If anyone wants to make me a reasonable offer I might just go have a new trailer made for myself!

My 2022 shorelandr trailer creaks about as bad as my knees. Almost embarrassing to drive through the development to bring the boat home, and I have the “upgraded” galvanized trailer opposed to the better looking painted trailer.

Is that for a single axle or dual axel? I will look next time the boat is at home, but I only have a single axle.

Good question. I have a dual. Not sure about the one. Sorry about that if I’m wrong.

I feel your pain. I lubed and greased every fitting and every pivot point on my 2021 trailer, and yes, it creaks like the tin man.
