Slip vs In and Out service

We are lucky, our next door neighbor has a slip in Lakeway Marina that has a lift - they go to MI every summer in mid-May and return in late October...they take their boat with them! We get to use their slip/lift for all the time they are gone, the prime boating summer days. So much easier and the boat ramp is right next to the slip for when I need to pull it out of the water to fill it with gas or do repairs/upgrades/maintenance.

I used dry stack for a few months. Got fed up with having to find a spot to dock at the end of the day and with lack of shade while at the dock. Went to wet slip with a lift and will never go back!
