So among all the other things i have bought for this boat I need a spare tire and rim. 205/75/14 is whats on it.. As long as it is a spare it can be close. Any idea where to get a tire and rim with out pissing the wife off any more than I have due to all the stuff i have bough for the boat?

Is this possible? I am thinking not.

Many have said Discount Tire...

Buy a new set of nice rims and radial tires from www.recstuff.com and you'll have four spares. Then tell your wife better safe than sorry!!!! It worked on my wife.... although I only have a single axle....20150412_154419.jpg

Wish you were closer. I have the spare tire/rim from my original EZ Loader trailer that I've been trying to give away since the rim is a different size than what's on my new trailer.

At some point in the future I am going to buy an aluminum trailer and dump the mfi trailer (I haven't figured out how i am going to approach the wife with that little jewel yet) so I hate to buy a nice set of new rims and tires for it. My brother owns a tire store in Charlotte so I can get a new tire relatively cheap but was hoping to find someone in the area that had some used stuff that would be cheaper.. My brother said he could get me radials for 75 each if i want a new set.

Check craigslist or other local ads, I found a spare tire rim there for my previous trailer before I upgraded to an aluminum one.

I bought my spare tire and wheel from Amazon for around $100 delivered.

i found one ad on craigslist that had a rim and tire.. the rim was in a rusty pile of old rims outside in the rain and the tire was as well.. and it was in thugville!! lol

I would try recstuff.com. They have the best prices I could find. I was going to just buy a spare steel wheel until I saw how good the prices on aluminum ones were. Shipping wasn't too bad to MN but may be to you. Worth a look still.

It doesn't look like that carrier will work for our trailers. The part that the tire mounts to needs to be an angled style so the tire clears the hull.

The tire size is different for the 190 vs the 192. Which boat do you have? That tire should fit the 192 trailers, but I dont believe it will fit the 190's.

I have a 192. So you're saying not only the arm of the carrier needs to be angled but also the plate the tire mounts to?

Walmart sells a few different styles.

I have an angled mount I got from recstuff. I tried looking for it on their website, but couldn't find it.

That is correct. I tried the style like you posted above and the tire will hit the hull.
