Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I saw an older thread from years back that mentioned that you can fit 7.7s in the bow. I can't find it anymore and want to verify that 7.7 fit up front. Can you fit 7.7s in the back too ? 2010-2014 AR240
Thanks
Not sure about the front or cockpit but 8” fit fine on the swim deck of my 2010 242 LS. If you really want to know take a cardboard disc with an 8” diameter and see how it fits over the current 6.5” speakers in the bow and cockpit. The clearance between the cushions maybe tight but I think they would fit. Depth shouldn’t be a problem in those locations.
