Spectrum Color & iBoats.com....what's up?

Back at the beginning of January I ordered one of the patch paste kits from iBoats.com as they were a consumer reseller for Spectrum. Waited about a month since it takes about 2 weeks from order to ship out and never received anything. Then I noticed iBoats.com refunded my order to my credit card, but never bothered to contact me via phone or email to even notify me the order was cancelled. I tried to call iBoats, but apparently they don't offer customer service via phone, only sales. So I had to use their email contact form.......about a week later I got reply back that just said they had to cancel my order for "unforseen circumstances" and that I'd need to contact Spectrum directly.

Does anybody know if there's some issue now with Spectrum and resale to consumers (non-wholesale)? iBoats has lost any future business from me simply because they didn't even notify me that my order was cancelled........that is just bad business and disappointing. l ordered from them a couple of years ago and had a good experience.

I noticed Spectrum has a new website, but searching there for my color/year/make only yields larger quantities of sprayable gelcoat. Has anybody ordered a patch paste kit recently, and if so where did you order from? I guess I'm going to call Spectrum directly on Monday. If I can't buy a patch paste kit anymore I'm not sure what I'm going to do......

Iboat is not a spectrum reseller anymore. I emaield them to find that out. For Spectrum Retail you have to call Spectrum directly to order. I ordered some last month that way, it shipped the next day.
