Stains on hull from sand

Ez on Ez off is a much much stronger acid!

Anytime you use these types of cleaners you should have on all the PPE you can, especially, at a bare minimum, a M95 mask, a respirator with the correct cartridges is better, playtex gloves, long sleeves, long pants, close fitting safety glasses, close toed shoes, and some sort of cloth hat. When done, wash your gloves off in the sink or use a hose, then remove them and your clothes outside, take a shower wash and rinse thoroughly, wash your clothes separately with extra rinses.

Keep children, pets and others away from where you are working with this stuff and rinse the area with copious amounts of water.

This stuff is no joke.

I had a rather long career in industry and industrial hygiene is extremely important.

I cannot stop giggling while reading it. You are 100% correct and 100% the opposite of what I did the first time I used it on my boat. I was in shorts, flip flops, no gloves, no mask. Organic material on my concrete is sizzling, fingertips are smooth. And a week later the bristles of my favorite car wash brush started falling out like an old man losing his hair (5-6 at a time)

You nailed it, I do believe it's the strength of the oxycylic (sp) acid in the formula. It's why I encourage people to not say "star brite" when suggesting cleaning products. SB is a brand of a whole collection of cleaners, so the actual SB product should be mentioned when making suggestions.

The first boat I did was a boat we inherited from my father in law. It was aluminum and had been neglected. Sat in the water and had a layer of scum on it. After one session with the EZ On/Off, I was amazed at how it just melted off and rinsed clean. I'm so glad I did that along the curb out in the street rather than in my driveway. What a mess.
