I have a 1996 Seadoo Challenger that was running fine until today. It will only run if I don't give it any gas. As soon as I give it gas, it shuts down. I can put it into forward, neutral & reverse just fine. I just can't give it gas. Yesterday was the first day at had it in the water this year. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!!!!!!!

Agree. Carb rebuild, fresh gas, new plugs, or air/fuel (choke)

Pull the plugs and see if it's flooding or runnin way lean when throttle opens.

Carb rebuild.

If you have old (especially ethanol E10 gas) in there, clean out the tank and lines before your rebuild. Hate ethanol....destroyer of fuel systems.

Thanks guys!! Any idea the company at a new carb?????

That is a sure sign of fuel starvation, it could be a clogged fuel line" SEA DOO HAD A BIG ISSUE WITH BAD FUEL LINES" or a bad fuel pump or pulse tube that operates the pump or air leaking into the suction side of the fuel system, or a lack of proper fuel tank venting.
