Starter won’t turn the engine over

2017 Yamaha AR190
Starter just spins, won’t turn the engine over. See video.

This is after intermittent starting for several months. Already replaced starter relay. Looking for confirmation next step would be to replace the starter. I am 99% sure that is the case but just looking for confirmation from the experts. Any recommendations on starters? Stick with OEM? That is expensive. Any aftermarket recommendations? I have researched SBT and it seems to be a good option.

Sounds like the starter clutch stripped out. Hard to tell from the short video. Its number 1 in the diagram
