Starting boat in garage

Only 3 things could cause that message, oil, High Temp and engine issue. You already eliminated oil and high temp since its not been running for a long time. If you are handy, check and make sure all spark plug cable are not loose, you just need to remove top cover to do that.

There are quiet a few more.

When it was running it was like 12.6
I just picked the boat up end of December the battery is only a few months old. I put it on a trickle charge overnight and unhooked the cables 7 times the light keeps coming back on. The 11.9 volts in the picture was with key on but engine off.
Also just to note I've had the boat out twice since picking it up.

I want to say it is your battery. When running mine are showing 13.6+ on my boat. With the key off im at 12.6 or so. My waverunner, same engine, different battery shows 12.8 key off and 14.0+ running.

Maybe I'll swap the battery out and try it. I dont understand why the warning says to stop engine once its already running. Wouldnt you want it to run so the charging system can do its thing?

Also if you're not aware, most alarms require a few start/stop cycles for it to go away once the issue has been resolved. So just replacing the battery probably wont clear it right away. But if your voltage goes up then its a pretty good bet that was the issue and the code will stop alarming after a few cycles.

My wife had her car battery replaced...only two years old it had low voltage - turned out to be a bad cell. Sometimes you get a lemon.

If you can confirm it's the battery, then the dealer should replace it under warranty.
