Quick question. With the boat on the trailer if you turn your steering wheel all the way over to the right, which way should the nozzles face?

I swapped my steering cables today and in the scenerio my nozzles face right/starboard.

If I turn steering all the way left nozzles face left/portside.

Is this correct? For some reason I thought that they would turn opposite of steering.

Thanks

Sounds like everything is functioning correctly.

Ok great. Thanks Paulie. Took me about 4 hours . Just need to double check the steering is set right than off to the lake for testing

Normal, the nozzle pointing to the right will shoot water out that side and push the nose to the right , so you are fine.

I did have one hiccup. On the starboard side where the cable exits the transom and attaches to the nozzle. The aluminum sheathing is sliding up by the large nut and expose the bare cable any time i turn the nozzles by hand or steering wheel.
Port side has no issues.
Any ideas why?

Did you tighten the metal nut inside the transom?
