unfortunately we just bought the boat a month prior and were looking to get insurance and got a few quotes but then we had a baby(she came a little early) so we got too busy and when my husband went to the storage to check on the boat it was gone! The storage has cameras and gate that you need a code to get into so never in a million years did we think someone could steal the boat. When the cops came they checked the cameras and someone was able to cut the chain on the gate and push it open, they took the boat and then stripped it and left it on the street(down in Miami, we are about an hour north), they did not touch the body of the boat and left it on the trailer with our plates on, that’s how the police contacted us. Apparently the cops have a few detectives working on these cases cause they keep happening I’m south Florida , but they have no suspects as the storage cameras are so terrible. Our only option is to sue the storage place. In the meantime just slowly replacing everything that was stolen.Yes Extra Space Storage
