Stereo power issues

Is that with both battery switches on as well? If so that is not something that should happen.

The reason both battery switches need to be on is that the start battery is supplying the red ignition switch wires with power. When the key is turned to on the +12v signal from the the start battery is what makes the accessory power turn on.

No that is with only the House battery switch On and the Starter switch OFF

Well that could be it. Both batteries should be on with a connext boat. Does anything odd happen when both batteries are on and the keys are in the on position? If only the house battery is on the keys don't do anything in the on or start positions and shutting off the blower will shut off the acessory power. As far as the amp(s) just make sure that the remote wire for the amps is connected to the stock blue head unit wire if not already.

Thanks for all your help! I can do about anything mechanical but this stereo wiring is a new world for me. I will check and make sure the amp is wired correctly.
