Stern Swim Ladder

I have seen threads on here, or maybe on the other site (to remain nameless) about people bending their stern ladder. Mine has always been a pain in the butt, I suspect it was bent early on a couple of years ago, but on Saturday a buddy of mine accidentally finished it off and it wouldn't retract. After about 20 mins in the water trying to work on it, I removed it and brought it home to hopefully repair. Basically, all I want to know is looking at the attached pictures, is this pretty much what has happened to everyone else's. It didn't appear to me that the bracket attached to the boat was bent, just he ladder itself. I plan on contacting them for a warranty claim, hopefully they will be as helpful as others have noted.

Check my ladder mod I just wrote up a couple days ago.
solves this issue.

After my factory ladder got bent I replaced it with a different windline model, here is a link to a thread that I added my info, https://jetboaters.net/threads/need-a-new-ladder.805/#post-10567. Also in this thread it is discussed about sending your ladder back to windline for repairs.
