Storing ropes in bags

I have always stored my ropes like in the picture. Never did it any other way. Takes 5-10 seconds. Is there a better way?View attachment 92212

Dean, I coil my dock lines then put them all in a bag. For the 100 footers stuffing them in a bag is faster for me to put them away and similarly tangle free on the next use.

I found a method to tie off a coil a few decades ago and haven't had a problem with tangled ropes since. Coil it properly and consistently, grab the top loop tightly, tightly wrap the coil just above your hand, one coil up, one coil low, then 2 coils up (locks it in), then slip a blight through the loop, flip it up and over the top of the coil, then pull it tight. No more tangles.
This is most certainly going to require a video!

I have these rope holders under the two bow seats and on the two aft doors for docking.
I ordered more of these the other day but hadn't figured out where to put them yet. This is a great idea!! I only ordered 4, I may need a couple more.

Have a link? I'm interested.

Comes with the double sided sticky already attached. Just peel and stick.

I had them on the port storage compartment door on my 210. They were hanging vertical instead of upside down like the underside of a cushion, above, but worked great.
