Stuck on the water 2019 Ar190

I’m going to take back to the water here shortly to confirm all is good. Just wanted to make sure I checked everything here possible first.

no the intake is under your boat where the grate is, be sure nothing is inside it just to be safe. Pull your clean out plug and look in front of the pump.

Water out the pee hole when hooked up out of the water is completely different than the water intake when in the water. You can still have a blockage between the pump intake and the engine. You can pull the water intake hose off inside the engine compartment and blow air backwards to the jet pump but seeing that you have a strainer/screen it is unlikely that you have anything blocking there but still worth a shot

yes the water exiting the pump while running off the hose pretty well shows that the line from the pump to the engine is not blocked .

Are you the same guy that was on Facebook?

you are probably fine now but remember if you suck up weeds or trash that can shut down the proper flow of water into the pump and lead to overheating, as well as cavitation so if this happens check the pump via the clean out plug, usually just putting the boat into reverse and traveling backward , then turning off the engine with the controls placed in forward will allow water to back flush through the pump and wash out the weeds I call it the reverse move and usually it gets the job done without the need to pull the clean out plug .

were you at idle rpm or up and running? Sometimes after start up I will bump the rpm from the dash. This will assist in getting a nice pee stream.

I will remember the reverse trick next time.

Everything’s back in good working order.

Ended up meeting up with @iamcalled for a little bit accross the lake.

One more thing I want to pass on , if your boat goes into limp mode it is not SAFE MODE so do not keep operating it thinking you are not doing any damage. Shut it off and find the problem .
