After many positive comments on this forum (awesome as usual) I ordered the Stoltz bow roller (with bells) made specifically for Shorelander Trailers and my model of Yamaha Boat the 2020 SX195. The Stoltz roller kit for that is the RP 355. Ordered it and it arrived quickly. Opened the package and oh crap said Stoltz RP 434. Called Sturdy Built Trailer Parts and got Dylan on the line. Man what GREAT SERVICE. Super positive response. Please take a couple of pictures, we're sorry, we'll ship to Canada - no problems, we WILL make this right. Sent me a follow up e-mail within 5 minutes with specific instructions with direct e-mail for warehouse. I took a couple of pictures and e.mailed them with a covering note. Got an e.mail back in 5 minutes from Dylan. He said he had checked with the warehouse and they asked if I could measure the contact part between the bells and was it 3.5 inches? Dylan explained they no longer had the raised letters 355 on the center contact point as it could mark the boat but the bells for all the insert pieces from 3" to 4" were 344 bells. Sure enough he was right. He said it did cause confusion and the warehouse knew of this and might ship a sheet with a notice on that in the future. Two things I learned: 1. Measure before I call and 2. Sturdy Built Trailer Parts is an AMERICAN company that uses AMERICAN made parts whenever possible. AMERICAN parts + AMERICAN "old school" no excuses, we'll make it right (Dylan's exact words) great follow-up. With all the crap members have been getting lately from dealers etc. isn't it nice to hear about a great company! Well done Sturdy Built Trailer Parts - I'd recommend them to my Mother!

Your mother has a boat, too?

Awesome feedback! I’m in need of a new roller will look them up and get an order in.

@tdonoughue .....ok brother, you asked for it. LOL After WWII my mother spent a couple of years in Alaska and the Yukon as a geologist canoeing and portaging from lake to lake with all her supplies and only a rifle, knife and black lab for protection. Fast forward to a bunch of 11 year olds on a dock arguing to see who would get first run on a sea flea plywood boat we had built from plans that we got from some kid's magazine or only God knows where. Mother walked onto the dock. "Boys, you have covered the garage, our cars, the back deck and my gardens with saw dust. You have used most of my good hand towels to wipe-up resin and varnish and gotten that all over your clothes and half the house." Step aside said she and as we watched she fired-up the outboard and roared off down the river.....and that was that. Many, many years later I took her for a ride in a 38 foot Cigarette Top Gun with twin 900 HP supercharged Hawks off the shore of Fort lauderdale. At 70 MPH she asked "Is That all this thing will do?" My Mother is no longer with us but while she was she was a force of nature and could match any man's skill with a boat.

I also ordered the 355 Stoltz roller and received the 434 from Sturdy Built earlier this month. I went ahead and installed it on my trailer. Perfect fit so I went with it. Thanks to Canuckjetboater for doing the follow up with Sturdy Built.
Sturdy Built had the roller in stock and a great price and fast shipping. ( I have no connection to Sturdy Built) 00115235-F676-4897-B2EC-BE1F2D7B8956.jpeg

Up-date....the original roller shipped from the Yamaha factory on the Shorelander Trailer had left scuff marks on the bow of my 2020 yamaha SX195. These were compounded out. The Stoltz roller (from Sturdy Built Trailer Parts) was installed and has been perfect. No marks/scuffs of any kind, rolls perfectly, well worth the upgrade IMO.

He was great to deal with. He sent me a custom "cart" link because I actually wanted the shallow "V" RP446 center but with the RP344 bells. The RP446 center roller fits the newer hulls better. At least it does on my 2017 212 Limited S. I sent Dylan pics and he agreed that the RP446 fit so much better.

@Levi Weatherford ....awesome. Agreed, different centers and bells work better for different models!
