Finished my subwoofer install and thought Id share my innovation. Installed the 10" fusion sub in the bottom of a extra tall plastic bucket (fit perfect) and it sounds great. Didnt want to cut any holes and read a lot of posts where the free air sub sounded poor with no enclosure.

Is this post real? You just threw it in a bucket and you’re going to run it in an enclosed compartment? I wouldn’t think that would sound good in any way. That bucket is way too thin.

I wasnt sure how it would sound but it didnt cost anything to try it. It actually sounds quite good, and it is real!

You could always stick that bucket in another bucket if you need it thicker

The speaker is in the bottom of the bucket. Now I’m certain that wouldn’t sound good!!!

The only certainty is that nothing is certain. ;)
