$450 - Up for sale is a 2018 Phase 5 Wire. This carbon fiber board is great for a typical Yamaha wake and/or bigger riders. This is a hybrid board with a lean towards the surf style. Used for one season, maybe 15 to 20 rides. No nicks/dings/scratches. Always stored inside when not in use. Factory 4" surf fins are included, as well as a 2" set I purchased for a little more skim action. I have too many in the quiver now, and a mod or two left on the boat, so grab a great board at a great deal. US shipping is covered in the sale price. Prefer PayPal for payment.

The Phase 5 Wire is a welcome addition to any boat needing a board that thrives with riders of all ability levels and sizes. This versatile surf style shape rides like a sports car and makes for more fun on the water, whether it be underneath the feet of a total beginner or a skilled wakesurfer.
The wide belly and squared off nose gives this board a ton of surface area and volume. This does several things: creates a stable feeling, speeds up the boards acceleration, prevents burying the nose, and allows bigger riders to smaller boards than they typically would. An added bonus, this nose design also makes it possible to ride this board both regular and switch. This attribute is typically only found in skim style shapes and opens up endless new possibilities for your riding. The wide single winged tail gives the board impressive push and explosive acceleration once the rider leans forward on the gas pedal, allowing you to get way back on the wave and zoom back into the waveÕs sweet spot.
Built like a traditional surf board and then hand wrapped in Phase 5Õs exclusive Gatorskin Technology, the Wire has a light, reactive feel on the water. Another bonus perk, the Gatorskin helps improve the overall durability of the board, making it withstand the test of time much better than competitorÕs high-performance surfers. A carbon stringer throughout the belly of the board helps add additional strength and torsional rigidity. The twin fin setup will allow you to dig deep into a turn while still being able to easily break the fins free for those spins, airs, and more. Look closely and you will notice there is a lot of space between the fins and the tail of the board. This gives the board a looser, more playful feel on the water that makes spins easy to initiate.
