I was on my Sea Trial yesterday and the portside RPM gauge was not working. This was the first time in the water since the Compression Test, which was stellar. Only 100 hours on this boat, was garage kept. Anyway, someone on Facebook said to check where the computer read table is, as it may have been disconnected and not reconnected after reading all of the events.

Yes, that's likely if the YDS was recently used. It's plugged in by disconnecting the harness to the tachometer, and plugging the computer instead.

Failure of this gauge is not common from anecdotal evidence.
