May sound weird but looking for table options for my 2023 252S. Plenty of space but when we are anchored versus beached, we like to play cards or a game or so. In my old 195s you could turn the captain chair around and table there between it and the aft seats and it worked perfectly. On the 252S just not a great option that I have figured out and no table bracket inside the cabin. Anyone else figured out an option? The little triangle storage and fold up table is in that spot on this boat and just not an option. Thx

Have you checked if the table and existing leg(s) would work in the cockpit if there was a mount? If the angle/height checks out, install an additional mount.

@Wright2e I am in the process of installing an additional bracket for the stock table leg and tabletop. I am adding the additional table mount to the compartment that contains the battery switches. I will add pictures later. This is a list of the needed parts which I purchased from Partzilla.com. They seemed to be the least expensive and much less than buying from Yamaha. I attached the part numbers and prices that I paid. Partzilla got my shipment out quickly, packaged well and arrived with the correct parts. These are all YAMAHA OEM parts.

I’ve been thinking about adding a bracket there as well. I have a 250 and the bracket in it is the same location as the little table in the 252. I would like the more centered option to be able to play cards on.

Looks nice!

Did you get a piece of support aluminum or steel for the inside to strengthen the wall
It is on? Didn’t see that in the quote.

I didn't see a plate for support in the Yamaha web site. I used the table yesterday and agree it needs support inside the compartment. I am looking around now for a solution. Maybe a stainless steel plate at Home Depot?

I ordered a plate off eBay for my 195s a solid one aluminum and drilled holes. May reach out to jewlscustom for one. They have plates in kits and may sell you one separately. It will break eventually without one.

Great, I'll post what I install.

@Wright2e What size plate did you order?
I'm thinking 1/4x10x10

I think I ordered that and hack sawed it down back then. Didn’t have the room for a full 10x10. My guess is anything larger than a 6x6 would work.

Ordered a 5/16x8x8 stainless steel plate from Amazon $19
